Thirty minutes before the September Peoria Audubon meeting, this bunch of wild turkeys were waiting outside the Forest Park Nature Center scratching out remnants from the bird feeders.

Thirty minutes later, Bert Princen was inside discussing the merits of eBird software, as an enhancement for maintaining birding lists to the eager attendees.
